The Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Initiative is a confederation of major pharmaceutical companies working to improve social, economic and environmental results for all parties involved in the pharmaceutical supply chain. This initiative includes improved conditions for workers, economic development and a cleaner environment for local communities. The organisation has developed The Pharmaceutical Industry Principles for Responsible Supply Chain Management, which addresses five areas of responsible business operations: ethics, labour conditions, health & safety, the environment and related management systems.
